Prophecy Caelestis and Aurorea (Vampires Realm Romance Series Book 2)
In a world of darkness and danger, Prophecy will fight to her limit to save the vampire she loves and stop a terrible evil from unleashing Hell on earth.

A female vampire on the brink of discovering the true depth of her extraordinary power, Prophecy’s strength of heart is put to the test when her blood brother, Arkalus, and Valentine’s lord set in motion a terrible plan that threatens to destroy her. Old friends turn their backs on her, unlikely allies come to her aid, and with the help of the dangerously seductive Lord Hyperion, the scroll that foretells her true destiny is completed, but nothing can prepare Valentine and Prophecy for what lies ahead.

When her visions show her the dark path they must take, will Prophecy and Valentine be able to do what is necessary to win against the mounting threat of a mysterious enemy?

Following on from Prophecy Child of Light, the tension rises and love grows in Prophecy Caelestis & Aurorea, a thrilling second part to the trilogy that draws you into a dark, exhilarating world of vampires, werewolves, magic and the war to end all wars.

Prophecy Caelestis Aurorea Vampires Realm Romance Series Book 2 edition by Felicity Heaton Paranormal Romance eBooks

**** SPOILER ALERT *****
This review will cover both Books 2 and 3 of the trilogy.

I gave Book 1 all five of my stars because I didn't want to put my book down. I promptly dove into the Book 2 and, well, I found the story line was beginning to drag and it wasn't a problem at all for me to set the story aside to do other things. Disappointingly, Book 3 was easy to permanently shelve because:

In Book 1 it was taboo to even entertain the idea of co-mingling pure blood lines and the Law Keepers were always looking over your shoulder to keep everyone in line. Prophecy and Valentine spent many chapters fighting their feelings at the risk of betraying their blood line's loyalty. By the time we get to Book 3, fraternization with the other blood lines isn't even on the radar.

Which brings me to Venturi. At the end of Book 1 Prophecy destroys the leader of the Tennebrae and Venturi is instantly promoted. Now herein lies another problem with the storyline: Venturi - as the new Lord of the Tennebrae - doesn't stick around to help his destroyed family heal from the destructive battle that Prophecy and Valentine in hindsight accidentally waged; he doesn't tend to any "passing of the scepter" housekeeping details. Nope! He suddenly has a crush on Prophecy & immediately traipses off with her on her quest to find Valentine and to destroy Elena who is out to rule the world. He doesn't give a single thought to the Law Keepers.

Prophecy. Oh, where to begin?! The men in her life keep telling her how strong she is. Well, she's got mad witchcraft skills when she can figure out how to use them, but emotionally she's entirely co-dependent. She seems to need to be around a man to hug, lick, bite and console at her leisure. She loves Valentine - but refuses to allow either of them to even say the words aloud to one another. She dangles Venturi along like a puppy and he's a gullible sap who will do anything and everything she asks.

Prophecy wears her star necklace her entire life but it doesn't occur to her that it might be the key to open her spell book. I figured that out in Book 2 but it took Prophecy way later into Book 3 before her attempted assassin / father poked her in the head with the knowledge. The whole "you're my father??" scene was eyeball rolling.

Claims - just what does it take to claim a fellow vampire so that you won't feel tempted to look to others because you're so consumed with your lover? Sex isn't enough and having magic threads turning colors or weaving between you and your lover doesn't make the claim, either. Claims were a big deal in Book 1 and by 60% of Book 3 it still wasn't defined.

And speaking of that big battle to save the world. It was the focus of the story line from the very beginning but the author just dragged on the inevitable to the point that I just didn't care. In Book 3 the author did the predictable: she had Elena cackling to her captured audience all her evil plans for world domination. *Yawn* Isn't that the recipe for every B-grade book and movie? By the time I flounced, the image of Elena in my head became Ursula from the Disney movie The Little Mermaid.

All told, the idea of the story is good but I think it should have been just two books instead of three. Venturi was a nice character but he was a time consuming distraction to the story who aided to Prophecy's co-dependency. The story just needed to move along to keep the action exciting.

To the author's credit, she wrote very sensual scenes between the characters. Vampire neck biting was pretty tingling to read and the eventual sex scenes were done quite well.

Prophecy Caelestis Aurorea Vampires Realm Romance Series Book 2 edition by Felicity Heaton Paranormal Romance eBooks Reviews

Whew I was so relieved that it picked up right where it left off. I got so involved in the story line and was dying to see what would happen next. Vampires, Werewolves and Witches, so exciting. I love the characters and the story line kept me wanting more. I absolutely loved this book!!! It's exciting, thrilling and a beautiful love story in the making the entire way through. I could read it all over again! I would love to see it made into a movie, how exciting that would be!!!
As with the first book of the series, grammar issues come close to ruining this otherwise good book.
This writer has massive difficulties with pronouns. She is constantly mixing up the use of him/himself, she/herself, he/him, she/her, and I/me.
It is like hitting a brick wall when this happens, taking the reader completely out of the flow of the story.
I even came across one spot where she uses grammar properly in one sentence, then in the very next one, makes a mistake in the same type of wording she just used correctly. Very frustrating.
This series has me on the edge! Just when I think Prophecy and Valentine will have a little peace and quiet before the big war the story throws me a curve. So now I must finish the series. On some series I've read I don't get into them and don't bother to get the next book in the series and I'm ok with that, but this is not one of those! I've GOT to get the last book in the series and know that the characters that I've read about and come to care for will succeed and save not only their bloodlines but the rest of the world. Off to fight...no no I mean read!
After becoming invested in the characters in the first book of this series, I was genuinely happy to purchase this second installment. We get more information and plot development, as well as new characters that make me laugh, smile, get angry, etc., all the things a good book should do. However, I still encountered problems with the need for proof reading, and again the usage of the Queen's English to US English. I will NOT do what other reviewers do, and spoil the book for others by talking about the storyline. However, I love the twists and turns in this plot much more than the first book. This was, by far, worth my money and time to read. Again, would like to offer my services as proof reader.... Some of the other books I've read from Indie Authors have the same problems. I would definitely recommend reading books 1 and 2 in this series.
This second book in the trilogy picks up the story from Book #1. The adventure continues as Prophecy seeks out Valentine where he is being held and prays that he is alive. Prophecy developes more friendships along her journey and realizes that some friends won't help her with the impending war. She developes a friendship with Venturi, The new Lord of Trenebrae but she discourages him at every opportunity because her thoughts are of Valentine. Venturi has pledged an allegiance to her and vowed to stay by her side to protect her.

Prophecy is still having visions but it's never enough to answer her questions. Her relationship continues to develop with Valentine and she learns how much she cares for him as the two of them know that they must take over each of their vampire families to succeed in fulfilling the prophecy.
